2026 Scholarships

Mt. Wheeler Power is now accepting applications for its 2026 “Powering Your Future” Scholarship, designed to support graduating high school seniors while recognizing leadership, service, and a commitment to community.

The scholarship is open to students who reside within Mt. Wheeler Power’s service territory and plan to pursue post-secondary education. In addition to completing a written application, students will submit an Impact Pitch highlighting how they are “Powering Their Community” through volunteer work, leadership roles, or service to others. Finalists will be invited to participate in an interview with the scholarship committee.

In addition to the “Powering Your Future” Scholarship, Mt. Wheeler Power also offers a separate scholarship for students interested in attending Lineman School, supporting those pursuing careers in the electric utility industry.
