The Youth Leadership Challenge is an all-expenses-paid leadership recognition and development camp sponsored by Mt. Wheeler Power. We proudly sponsor high school juniors who already demonstrate leadership qualities and are ready to grow, refine their skills, and represent their cooperative.
This camp is not an introductory leadership program. It is designed for students who:
- Are already involved and engaged in their school or community
- Demonstrate initiative, responsibility, and follow-through
- Are comfortable participating, collaborating, and speaking up
- Show maturity, confidence, and strong character
Participants will learn from experts in leadership, teamwork, communication, and skills-building. Outstanding participants may be considered for scholarships, national recognition opportunities, and future leadership roles, including returning as a camp director.
