Apprentice or Journeyman Lineman – Ely, NV

Mt. Wheeler Power is looking for an Apprentice or Journeyman Lineman to join our Operations team in Ely, Nevada. This full-time, IBEW 1245 classified position offers the opportunity to build or continue a career in the electric utility industry while serving the rural communities that make up Mt. Wheeler Power’s service territory.

Journeyman candidates must have completed a BAT-recognized apprenticeship program and provide a Journeyman Lineman Certificate with their application. Apprentice candidates must have completed at least two years in a certified apprenticeship program.

Mt. Wheeler Power offers a competitive compensation and benefits package, including 401(k), medical, dental and vision coverage, life insurance, and a mortgage assistance program.

Facilities Maintenance/Meter Reader/Collector

Mt. Wheeler Power is accepting applications for a Full-Time Facilities Maintenance/Meter Reader/Collector. This hands-on position combines facility and grounds maintenance with meter reading, service connects/disconnects, meter change-outs and field service collections. We’re looking for a dependable, self-motivated individual who can work independently, troubleshoot problems and take pride in maintaining our facilities and serving our members.
